3. Menu development: Develop custom flavor profiles, create menus and signature drinks, as well as, select coffee varietals and blends that appeal to local tastes
4. Supplier evaluation: Recommend wholesale coffee roaster(s) that will best supply businesses with coffee based on location, quality, customer service, price and other criteria. Recommend appropriate equipment suppliers, service providers and systems that will effectively produce specialty coffee beverages; specifically, water treatment systems (extremely important), espresso equipment and brewed coffee equipment
5. Retail interior layout: Guide your architects, engineers and/or interior designers to ergonomically arrange the workspace and customer traffic areas for employee safety, speed of service and convenience
6. Training procedures and manuals: Produce customized staff training manuals and job aids using company beverage recipes, unique practices specifically developed for the business
7. Staff / barista training workshops: Conduct on-location training workshops for your key staff using best practices developed or otherwise recommended for the business
